You will be eligible for Medicare after being on SSDI for 24 months. Medicare Part A is free of charge and Part B is currently $104.90. Then you'll need either a Medicare Supplement or Medicare Advantage plan. In most states supplements are not available to those under age 65.

Your wife is not eligible for Medicare unless she is also on SSDI, have ESRD or ALS, or is age 65 or older. Most states do not give welfare benefits to able bodied adults.

When you get your SSDI you may lose the Medicaid if your household income is too high. You are entitled to Medicare 24 months from your disabiity date. For 3 people to get Medicaid, it depends on the income guidelines in your county because social services are determined at the county level.

For you with your blilndness, you may have to buy high-risk pre-existing insurance. For your wife and child, they may buy regular health insurance which will be cheaper on the state exchange toward the end of this year. Meantime all of you can go to any low income clinic and pay as you go.

bypass to social centers workplace, no longer social secure practices!! you are able to probable get medicaid. observe!! you're no longer entitled to something!! i'm ill and uninterested in paying particularly some taxes to assist out human beings such as you who do no longer difficulty to shield themselves. Your spouse can get a activity and paintings and you're able to be able to shield the toddler and learn how to do some thing else!!!
