My blood test result?

So i received my blood test result today and i am concerned that i have anemia? can someone please help me in reading this result? and if i have anemia what kind would it be? I am a 17 years old teenage girl.

It would appear that you should book an appointment with your Doctor to discuss the results. There are guides online as to what the tests are for but you need to talk to your Doctor as he needs to interpret the results. However, your red blood cell count is high, they should be low if you had anemia.

in this computer age there is so much on line information available and it can be helpful but can also be very confusing or alarming with some of it's information.

I'm speaking from personal experience because I've alarmed myself on some info I obtained on line and it wasn't the problem at all. So, please make an appointment with your doctor to discuss what you don't understand. and if you want, take a parent or older family member along with you if you're unsure you'll understand all that's being said.

Your hemoblobin [HGB] is .6 low. Your are barely anemic.



Discuss this with your doctor. And meanwhile go eat something with iron in it, like green leafy vegetables or liver.
